The Croatian Independent Monitoring Mechanism (IMM) as of 1 July 2026 ceases its operations under the existing funding framework. Hence, the IMM is
no longer receiving or processing notifications, inquiries or other communications submitted through the IMM mailbox or the online contact form. The Foreigners Act entrusts the Government's Office for Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities with the implementation of the independent fundamental rights monitoring mechanism under the Pact on Migration and Asylum.
