IMM presents its 2nd Periodic Work Report to the Advisory Board and the MoI

Zagreb, November/December 2025 - The Independent Monitoring Mechanism (IMM) presented its 2nd periodic work report, covering the period from 1 June to 31 October 2025, to the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) and the IMM Advisory Board (AB).
 
At the meeting with the MoI, the report was presented at the premises of the Croatian Red Cross in Zagreb, with the participation of representatives of the MoI Border Sector, while the IMM AB discussed the 2nd periodic report at an online meeting. On behalf of the IMM Coordination Board, the report was presented by Prof. Dr. Anna-Maria Getoš Kalac, Head of the Coordination Board, with the participation of Ms Selma Ilić, Deputy Head. On behalf of the IMM Advisory Board, the meeting was attended by the Head of the Frontex Fundamental Rights Office (FRO), representatives of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME), and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).
 
The positive trend of regular and reinforced monitoring presence in the field has continued, with systematic, unannounced visits to the green border and other locations where the IMM conducts monitoring, and this trend is expected to continue until the end of the year.
